Connected Roots Therapy

Thanks for visiting!

We are excited to announce that we have a new name: Connected Roots Therapy. Rest assured that your account and your therapist remains the same, as does your Jane account - you will just see Connected Roots Therapy on your invoices and appointment reminders. You will also be seeing some new faces on our booking page as additional therapists join our practice. Stay tuned!

Waitlist on Jane - Only for current clients. If you are a new client please do not put yourself on the waitlist on Jane and email admin@connectedroots.ca directly instead. Current clients - If you don’t see a session time open that works for you, add yourself to the waitlist for that session by clicking “add yourself to the waitlist” in the bottom left of the calendar. If there is a cancellation or that spot becomes available, Jane will email you to offer you the spot. This will be time limited, so make sure to check your email that day!

Thank you!

Consultation & Supervision

Consultation and Supervision for Psychotherapists and Social Workers.

Sara supports children, youth, and adults in healing from trauma, stress, and life’s challenges. Stress and difficult experiences can show up in the body as anxiety, chronic pain, sleep problems, or just feeling “off.” She works with clients who have experienced childhood trauma, attachment challenges, or increased stress from school, work, relationships, or recent life events.

Sara uses trauma-informed, bottom-up approaches such as play therapy, sand tray, art, and Somatic Experiencing to help clients tune into their bodies, process emotions safely, and build regulation and resilience. She also supports children, youth, and families living with type 1 diabetes, offering support for parents, caregivers, and family members.

With children, youth and caregivers, she integrates Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) to strengthen caregiver-child relationships and support children outside of therapy sessions. Sara creates a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space and invites potential clients to reach out to see if they are a good fit before booking a session.
